Native Instruments Kontakt 7.6.0 download the new version for apple

The folder icon now changes to an AU component icon, confirming that macos now thinks it's an AU plugin. I rename the 'Kontakt 6.component copy' folder to 'Kontakt 5.component'.

(I also tried copying the code from the plist inside the backed up Kontakt 5 component).

I find the info plist inside the duplicated 'Kontakt 6.component copy' folder and paste the code from post #1178.

(This results in a folder called 'Kontakt 6.component copy').

I deleted the Kontakt 5 component from the AU components folder.

I backed up my Kontakt 5 component to my desktop.

I get an error saying: Failed to load Audio Unit 'Kontakt 5', please contact the manufacturer for an updated version

I'm sure the same thing will work for Kontakt 6.ĥ.4.1, Copyright (c) 2014 Native InstrumentsĬlick to expand.It's not working, I must have done something wrong. Any project with Kontakt 5 instances will now replace these instances with Kontakt 7. If anyone is interested, I found a way to fool Logic Pro by copying the 'Kontakt 7.component' to 'Kontakt 5.component', and edit the ist file in the Resources folder of the package, such that Logic thinks that its Kontakt 5, but it actually opens the Kontakt 7 Plug-In.
